Cross-Sector Partners Launch $250,000 Coronavirus Response Fund
(Everett, WA) -- A cross-sector partnership of local philanthropy, government, and business have joined together to create a Response Fund that will rapidly deploy resources to the frontlines of the novel coronavirus outbreak in Snohomish County.
Local Visitor Guidance Summary:
For facilities that are accepting visitors, Washington State Department of Health is recommending that visitors are screened for COVID-19. Following screening, our local medical facilities are implementing the following visitor guidelines:
- Providence in Everett is limiting visitors to those who are 18 years and older and who are immediate family, powers of attorney, guardians, or the patient’s representative.
- Swedish has suspended all routine visiting at their hospital campuses until further notices. Please read their updated policy for more information and exceptions.
- EvergreenHealth Monroe is limiting visitors to their hospital, practices, and other areas of care. For exceptions, please refer to their website.
- Virginia Mason Lynnwood Medical Center is allowing one person to accompany a patient to the Emergency Department if necessary.
- Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington and Skagit Valley Hospital in Mt. Vernon are allowing essential visitors only. Essential visitors are defined as one (1) immediate family member per patient at any given time. For isolation patients, visitors will not be allowed in patient rooms
