The new Snohomish County EMS Agency (SCEMSA) is issuing annual awards in recognition of your amazing service to our community. 

You can nominate a peer, a crew, or an agency to receive these three awards. SCEMSA will present the awards this year at the Pediatric Symposium on June 11th.  The deadline for nominations is May 31st. Please submit nominations as soon as possible! Below are the award categories and definitions, and a link to the nomination form.

Collaborator Award:

The Collaborator Award goes to an EMS professional who exemplifies teamwork across agencies. This award honors those whose efforts have united emergency services teams, enhancing response effectiveness and improving patient outcomes. 

Airway Award:

The Airway Award is presented to an EMS professional who has shown exceptional skill and decision-making in managing airway emergencies. This award highlights the critical importance of airway management in saving lives. This recognizes providers who have displayed calm under pressure, technical expertise, and innovative approaches during challenging situations. 

Resuscitation Award:

The Resuscitation Award is dedicated to recognizing EMS professional(s) who excel in the field of resuscitation. This celebrates individuals whose mastery in performing life-saving interventions has significantly impacted patient survival. Recipients of this award demonstrate exceptional proficiency in CPR, advanced cardiac life support, and other critical resuscitation techniques, often under the most demanding circumstances. Their unwavering dedication to preserving life embodies the highest standards of emergency medical service excellence.
